Peninsula Bioventures has expertise and experience in generating valuable licensing deals and creating spin-out ventures. The role of Peninsula Bioventures is to provide a dedicated resource that will significantly enhance the economic and social impact of important translational research being carried out at the PCMD. 
We can provide advice on strategy to help get your idea from the drawing board to the marketplace using internal resources or external innovation support networks. Proof of concept funding can be sought if necessary to enhance your innovation. 
Your innovation will be evaluated for prior art and market potential. Initial feasibility studies are carried out prior to deciding on the best strategy to protect your intellectual property. Evaluation and protection are carried out in close co-operation with the originator. 
Peninsula Bioventures is the technology transfer office of the Peninsula College of Medicine and Dentistry (PCMD). We support, and engage with, innovators and researchers in NHS trust hospitals and universities in Devon and Cornwall to translate research into successful healthcare solutions. |
